First off, my prayers are with the Captain and his family. He sounds like a very brave man and I hope this thing turns out well for him. He deserves it. He deserves a better President than he has in charge.
I wonder why the pirates felt like now for the first time in history, we can attack an American ship? Coincidence? I think not. Weakness is a characteristic that tyrants can smell from a mile away.
Russia, China, North Korea, Venezuela, and these freaking Somali pirates can all smell it from the Obama Administration. What they didn’t count on were American merchant sailors not being like their leader. The American sailors kicked some pirate booty, and the brave Captain offered himself as a hostage to protect his crew.
I cannot imagine being that guy. He has my utmost respect. Oh, did I mention the pirates are Muslims? No? Well, they are. The religion of peace strikes again.
Anyway we steam a destroyer to the scene, and I’m thinking this will be over about ten minutes after the destroyer gets there. The pirates will be forced to surrender or be sent to see their 72 virgins post haste. But no, that hasn’t happened. And now the pirates are sending reinforcements out to their guys!
Has the world gone completely insane?! I know our Navy is quite capable of taking these guys out, so why haven’t they yet? It has to be because they have been given orders from higher ups to not do so. Wiping out a bunch of bad guy Muslims might look bad to Obama’s people…I mean to the Muslim world, hehe. Obama’s people are we Americans,of course, I get confused.
If we can’t be done with a lifeboat of pirates quickly, I wonder how we are going to be able to deal seriously with Russia and China. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re sitting very pretty for anything those countries might do. Oh, we will go to the UN, where those two have veto power, and they will veto any sanctions against themselves for anything they do wrong. Obama and Clinton will be good with it, since that’s where all decisions are made, in the UN.
So here we sit, waiting for our brave ships Captain to be freed. I hope for his sake by this time next year, we aren’t still waiting. I remember the days being counted off during the Iran hostage crisis. I remember Obama just twiddling his thumbs in the Oval Office…Oh, I mean Carter, sorry, I get those two mixed up.
If I were the Balkan States, Poland, and the rest of the old Eastern Blok I’d be more than a little concerned that this guy is in the White House. Canada might want to consider getting that military back in shape. Drop the beer bottles, and grab a rifle Canadians, eh. We may not have yours or anyone else's backs much longer.
Check out the advances communism made in the 1970’s when Carter was the President. Russia misses the good old days, and Islam is the new advancing politics du jour trying to take over the free world. I’m sure Barrack Hussein Obama won’t allow tha…Barrack…HUSSEIN…nah, he won’t allow that…will he?
Cheers!
