Flaming Judge Flames Miss California

By now, you have heard about the infamous question and answer and obligatory outrage from every liberal in the country. How dare this girl speak such hate and vitriol! How dare her speak truth to her religious beliefs! She is like all Christians, they just hate homosexuals, and want them to be second class citizens! And on, and on.

It’s all been argued so much, I’m not sure why I’m writing about it, except that I have a few things to say on the subject. So here it goes. I’m not going to proselytize, but it might sound that way.

I am a Christian and believe in the infallible truth of the Bible. The Bible steps on toes. It holds no punches. It says the truth of the universe, you can accept it or not, it doesn’t change it. God isn’t going to lose sleep over whether any of us believe him and his word or not. Yet, he sent his Son down to die for each of us individually, because he loves us greater than we can ever love him back. He is a just God and cannot abide sin. He loves you enough to allow you to choose Hell over Heaven.

Here’s where it gets tricky and we lose people. Over the last few decades, several of the world’s Christian denominations have started this morally relevant type of Christianity that says basically if you are good person, God will not deny Heaven from you, regardless of whatever else you may do. More and more Bibles are being re-written to exclude the word homosexual so as not to sound condemning, the word is replaced with a generic sexual immorality.

This is a lie straight from Hell, and goes toward this girl’s answer. Do the people that support same-sex marriage love homosexuals more, or do Christians that truly believe they will go to Hell if they continue in their sins? Forget whether you agree with the Christian or not, it’s immaterial. The fact is WE believe it.

If Carrie Prejean, Miss California USA, truly believes that a homosexual lifestyle is a sin to the God she claims to serve, saying anything less would have been truly hating homosexuals. I propose that those that encourage this lifestyle are the ones that truly hate homosexuals, because they don’t care about their eternal souls at all.

I don’t hate homosexuals. I’m certainly not physically scared of them. I hate the homosexual agenda and movement because I believe it is damning people to Hell. The more it influences young people to try it, the more people it condemns.

I Corinthians 6:9-10 : Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (Note that if God truly meant sexual immorality in place of homosexuality, God would have said sexual immorality twice in this verse. I don’t think so)

That’s quite a list there, and it’s a partial list of the things that will keep you from entering Heaven. As a Christian, I hate each of those sins, yet I don’t hate people that do those things.

I know people that have committed sexual immorality, idolatry, adultery, stolen things, been greedy, are drunkards, slanderers, and probably swindlers, and lastly, I’ve known homosexuals (I can’t say I’ve known a male prostitute).

I don’t hate any of those people, but I fear for their souls because of their sin.

The difference in homosexuality and these other sins is not that homosexuality is worse, but it’s that they have a very aggressive agenda that is trying to convert people to their way of life, or at least, shut those up that speak out about their agenda. If an agenda was formed around swindlers, say the Swindlers are People Too Campaign, I would react exactly the same by condemning it as unhealthy spiritually, but there isn’t such a group. Well, Congress doesn’t count.

The homosexual agenda is anathema to we Christians. It is a battle line for the soul that we cannot allow to be crossed. Not only for the sakes of those in this sin, but for those not yet in it.

I have 12 children. By statistics that means 1 or 2 of my children will be homosexuals. I can’t bare the thought of losing 2 of my kids to the Devil. I pray for them, and I speak out against not just homosexuality, but over-sexuality, and promiscuity, and adultery, and a whole list of other things.

Sadly, I believe America is going the way of Europe and it will soon be illegal to speak out against the homosexual agenda without being fined or imprisoned as a hate speaker. Miss California got a small taste of things to come. We got to see where we are heading as a nation that every day moves further away from the God of the Bible, and toward the God of Belial.

As with most things in our Orwellian world, it is not we Christians that hate homosexuals, it is clearly the homosexuals who hate we Christians.

Cheers!
