Editor Note: Before I start my next post, I want to apologize for not having more updates the past few days. I have started a new job and it is requiring a lot of my time. I try to make at least one posting per day, and am truly sorry I haven’t been able to lately. I will get better as my life gets back to a more routine schedule. Thanks for your patience, please keep checking back.
Obama’s 100 Days
This news is a couple of days old, but I wanted to comment on these items.
At Obama’s 100 day lovefest he said he was “remaking America”. I didn’t know he was George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Ben Franklin, and all of the other Founding Fathers rolled in to one personage. I just thought he thought he was Jesus.
It takes a lot of chutzpah to make statements like these, and even more for the media to not pound him on what he means by it.
Imagine if you will, Reagan or GW Bush making a statement like this. To say the media would have totally freaked out is a horrible understatement. They would tried to form lynch mobs themselves. Everything Reagan or Bush would have done from that point forward would have been couched with those infamous words.
Remember President Bush #1 said “new world order” in a speech? He was immediately castigated for it. “Aha!” people screamed. “He’s a globalist and trying to form a one world government!” It still haunts talks about his presidency, only finishing second to “no new taxes”.
Why the insipid silence from the media now? Obviously, they are in the tank for him and his ideology as evidenced by the idiotic fluff questioning he gets at his press conferences. But there’s more than that, they are invested in his presidency. The media can not try and make him look bad because they made him in the first place.
We are on our own folks. No MSM is going to give the Republicans or Conservatives a fair shake, not that they ever have. We as bloggers, and online reporters are going to have to force the media’s hand as often as we can, and hope it reaches the streets of America.

I am so happy that he left the Republican party, I can’t even type without smiling. I know the Democrats are now going to be able to wreak havoc on us, but it’s worth it for now. They were going to win him over on much of their agenda anyway, so it really isn’t as devastating at it might seem.
Of course, he blamed the Republican party for his leaving stating it had moved to the right. Oh if that were only so! Unfortunately, it’s not. He can’t say, “hey I was gonna get my butt kicked in the primary because I vote like the liberal that I am, so I left because I want to keep my power as long as my rusty old fingers can grasp it.”; ie, he blames someone else.
You have just seen a true politician in action. He is the quintessential American statesman of this century in action. So far removed are our modern politicians from our founders, they might as well be from another country. 90% of them are just like him. Serving in Congress was never supposed to be a lifetime job, but these rascals can’t do what George Washington did, and quietly walk away from the power.
They want to be rich and famous, and they aren’t attractive enough to be actors, so they become politicians. Why do we keep voting them in? We always think our guy is the good one, and everyone else’s are the bad ones. It’s like our kids, it’s never their fault, it’s the other kids that made our kids do bad.
Republicans did self imposed term limits a few years back, and of course, the Democrats did not. The result was we lost seats because they became open as the Republicans bowed out. My hat is off to those that did that. Unfortunately, it didn’t catch on with most of America.
Liberal areas love their lifelong money grabbing politicians, and never vote them out, even when caught doing salacious or criminal acts. The peoples of those areas love their money stealing more than they love this country. I’m not sure that will ever change.
Other Tidbits
Any American car company that Obama hands the reigns over to the UAW to control, will be a company that I never buy from again. I love Dodge Ram pickups, but if he gives Chrysler to the UAW it’s DOA to me. I’ll buy a Ford most likely, since they haven’t had to take any money to survive…yet.
Harry Reid said Obama told him “I have a gift, Harry”, when Reid told him he had given a great speech. The messiah complex of this guy is getting closer to scary, and Harry Reid’s idiocy is confirmed. They guy tells the story as if it’s a good thing. He’s so far removed from reality that he doesn’t see the incredible narcissism in it. Obama failed to mention his “gift” is a Panasonic Port-A-View 3000 Teleprompter that we taxpayers bought for him, without it he’s a bumbling idiot.
Greg Gutfeld wrote a commentary that is so brilliant, do yourself a big favor and read it here:
THE UNCOMMON BRAVERY OF GULIANA RANCIC
TIVO his show on Fox News if you can and watch it. Watch it more than once, it’s sometimes a train wreck, most times absolute brilliance. Give a weeks worth of chances and I think you will be hooked, if you don’t then you sir, are worse than Hitler! (a little joke from the show)
That’s it for now, I compressed a couple of days into this posting, please let me know your thoughts. Click the Comments link and tell me. It’s the only way I know you are out there.
Cheers!
